I have been shooting a lot of Highlanders lately. I <3 it!

You couldn’t tell by these photos that he just wasn’t havin’ it this day. 1, 2, 3, wheeeeee always works!

He was quite the active little guy, but was having a good time!

I think he is going to be a baseball player when he grows up!!

A Grandma, two Moms, two Dads and seven sibblings/cousins.

These children were all very very well-behaved. . .I was quite surprised because some of them are so young! I could photograph families like this any day.

It wasn’t that long ago when this “little” guy was imitating Steve Urkel and yelling “Where’s the pants???”.
(He’s going to kill me for that, I’m sure of it!)

Mitchell is my “little” cousin, and has grown up to be such an amazing young man! And to top it off, he is almost done with law school. GO MITCH!
Karri is a fun-loving person with lots and lots of awesome wedding ideas. Together they make such a FUN couple and I can’t wait for their wedding day in Milwaukee in 2012!

Ashley, Jesse, Izzy and Li’l Bit! ~ Maternity Photography

I met Ashley on-line many, many years ago when we were both planning our weddings. This was our first time meeting in person though, and it was LONG overdue! Ashley and her family came to St. Louis, all the way from Indiana. Makes a girl feel good when someone will travel that far to get their pictures taken by li’l ol’ me! So, they made a mini-vacation of it and headed over to City Museum after they were done with pictures, and of course, had a blast! Ashley and Jesse are going to be parents again and Izzy is going to be a big Sister!

Uncle Richard was there to help take care of Izzy while Mom and Dad had some pictures taken. We found them in this tree. How cute!

What a beauty.. ..look at those gorgeous eyes!

There was more thought put into this wedding than most weddings I have ever photographed!! Brittany and Jay (though I’m sure Brittany did most of it! haha) had a spectacular Cardinal themed wedding. From her bouquet, to the centerpieces, to the location, and the fireworks that went off right after they were man and wife, etc., there had to be a LOT of time put into these details!

Murphy Family

I will never forget the day that my friend Felicia posted on Facebook that her and her little boy were in the hospital because her son Deakon’s liver was failing. I read it and my heart broke, thinking of all the pain and scare he, as well as his family, was enduring at the time. He ended up having to have a liver transfer, at a very young age.

Months later, after hospital visits, doctors visits, a liver transplant, etc.; friends of hers had a benefit to raise money for all the doctor/hospital bills. I donated a free family photo session to the silent auction. The Murphy family purchased the photo shoot at the benefit.

And, praise God, Deakon is doing very well now, after he received his new liver.

Starting today, I am not going to miss posting on here anymore. I like the way the photos look on here 100% more than when posted on Facebook.

One of my favorite family shoots to date. This family was SOOOO fun!
