HEY, get back here!

It was pretty ironic. Jenn and I planned on shooting her maternity session on October 18th. Then she got a little worried that she might go early and miss out on maternity pictures if she waited until then, so we decided to do it a few weeks prior.

I have decided that this is one of my most favorite maternity pictures taken. . .as well as one of my favorite pictures ever taken.

Yes, I did just so happen to notice the “LOVE” on the wall above their heads!

Yes, this is a real rainbow!

I met up with the Rooks Family a few weeks ago for some family photos. It was a family shoot that was a little out of the ordinary. . .just taking pictures of them having a good time. These are just a few of my favorites.




At first the little guy wasn’t too sure about me (as you can see here). . .but eventually warmed up later in the session.

Believe it or not, this one wasn’t staged/posed. . .this little guy did not want to sit still. He was all about making adorable faces all day though!

They brought their costumes too! Pink Lady and Yoda.

George & Bonnie had a very small intimate ceremony at a beautiful park in IL. Here are a few favorites from their beautiful day.

Man, I have a LOT to catch up on! :O

Sarah and Jamie got married on a very rainy day. It poured the whole time the girls were getting ready and it sprinkled the whole time we were driving to the ceremony. When we got there and it was time for Jamie and Sarah to do their “first meeting” (I LOVE WHEN CLIENTS DO THIS), the sun came out and we got time for fun pictures of the couple and formals. Just in time for the outside ceremony, it poured again. Sarah and Jamie had to move things inside the hall where the reception was going to be. I felt SO sad for them, but they took it like champs. (I would have been crying. haha) There were no time for more pictures between the ceremony/reception, so thankfully we got most of them done before it started pouring again. The only thing we really missed were just a few [fun] pictures of the bridal party. But, it is all about the bride and groom and we got PLENTY of awesome pictures of them that day!

We [jokingly] tried to tell her to keep her hair just like this!

I love turning clients into friends.

I don’t have a lot of time, I’m trying to get caught up and have a lot to blog about, so I’m just going to post pictures for the next few entries.

I had to add this picture in there. This is a family tradition. (Uncle Don even wore my veil at my wedding!)
