I have always been one to “pose” people and take pictures. It is just my nature.
The time it really kicked in was in May, 2006 at my “cousin’s” wedding in New Douglas. My Uncle Ron had one of those “big bad” cameras. So, that evening at the reception, I took over and had a BLAST taking pictures of this, taking pictures of that, creative ones, etc. That is when it hit me. . .”This is what I would LOVE to do for the rest of my life!”

It was that day I started wishing I had my own “big bad” camera.

For my “Golden Birthday” (Sept. 28th, ‘06), my awesome husband gave me a Canon Rebel EOS Digital SLR. Now I really did have one of my own “big bad” cameras.

Now it was just learning how to use it.
